Inspiration when and where you need it most

Maybe your next family holiday?

After contemplating a few options for our next family holiday, we decided to take the most family friendly option and without too many hassles in terms of the logistics … a cruise.

Thats right, Ieremia and I, plus all our 11 children, and my Mum and Dad to boot, are going cruising June, 2010.

Our next family holiday

There were a few contributing factors that bought us to this decision but I think the biggest was the fact that the total amount was all inclusive, we would be covered for everything for a period of 12 days. That to us is an absolute luxury.

Over the past years when going on holiday it has been a matter of tallying up separate costs for travel, transport, food, accommodation, flights, activities, and a number of other miscellaneous items, but for a cruise, its almost a one stop shop.

We had been considering the cruise option for some time but it seemed that when all the specials were available we didnt always have the cash at hand.

My expertise in finding the lowest costs for my family usually originate online, through my keyboard, mouse and the famous google search engine. I do the majority of all my purchases online. I research, compare, email, chat and sometimes even call, to ensure I get the best deal possible for whatever purchase I may be making. Armed with many years of booking travel for my family and my extended family online, thats exactly how I got to scoop a cruise deal for my family departing Auckland, June, 2010.

Over the next few weeks Im going to be posting how I went about finding the best deals for our family holiday and hopefully it will give you a few ideas for yours.

Otherwise, flick me an email or post a comment and i’ll be happy to reply.
